My Poems
Sleep - A HaikuSleep, such a blissful thing.
Where dreams can take over your reality I think I'll sleep now. |
McNally Robinson - Image PoemMuted music dancing softly through the shelves
The smell of coffee wafting from the shop Bright, warm colours of books gleaming Sunlight shining though the wide windows Scattered people crouched in corners exploring different worlds and galaxies The feeling of warmth and welcome surrounds the store It feels like home. |
Prisoner - Found PoemThey appear as a picture of normality.
But underneath that picture, is a world upside down. Bottled up thoughts trapped in their throats. The fragile soul is crushed and shattered with the constant throwing of sticks and stones. They seem fine, but feel lonely in a crowd of people. To be a prisoner of life itself and the nightmares that bullying contains. Putting up with it is a fight to the death until one night it all comes crashing down. Never to be seen again. All they needed was someone who cared. Anything to say? Comment below

An Ode To Books - OdeTo the wonderful thing known as books
Which can contain that biggest of galaxies to the smallest of cells. It can take you as far away as another world or even as nearby as next door. The endless stories that keep you up at night thinking man, books are great. The way books can capture your attention for days or even weeks. The way books can fill you life with adventure romance comedy or even mystery To become the main character in every book To be the hero or even the really funny guy It makes you think, man, books are great. |
